"Artemis" has been with us from the start. As our original herd queen, she is a bossy, opinionated, somewhat quirky doe and usually amongst the first to introduce herself to visitors.

Artie is one of our heaviest milkers, with large orifices and a soft, smooth udder. She tends to have large kids who grow quickly and we retained our first daughter out of her in 2019.

Note: Artemis was dehorned in February of 2018

August 2025 - RIP my beauty.  Artie had been slowing down and showing signs of age for a couple of years, before being laid to rest.  The barn feels different without her.
