Cassiel

”Cass” is the first LGD addition to our little farm. While most seem to be confusing him with a golden doodle or other poodle cross, Cass is actually 3/4 Komondor, where he gets his lovely curl from, and 1/4 Great Pyrenees. Cass is not a doodle, nor is he a typical pet, though he does enjoy some attention, once he’s had a moment to observe the newcomers. But Cassiel’s job is to protect the animals from any dangers, whether that is loose dogs, coyotes or unescorted humans and though he’s still young, he’s growing into his job beautifully.

Gabriel
Born December 2019
”Gabby” joined the farm as a pup in February 2020, to be Cass’s future guardian partner and so far, the pair are making an excellent team. Gabby is currently a tall, lanky “teenager” but she’s looking like she’ll be a big, big girl when she’s done growing. She’s super sweet and affectionate with people, although she has hit a bit of a shy phase in her “teen” stage.
